Infectious Diseases

Infectious diseases continue to be a prominent killer in developing countries, despite the ability to prevent and treat many of the most common problems, such as diarrheal diseases and tuberculosis. Other major infectious diseases, such as HIV/AIDS, are also a serious concern in low- and middle-income countries where poor health education and use of sex workers can help spread these diseases. CGHR is dedicated to conducting high quality research to help stop the spread of these preventable, and in some cases, treatable diseases.
