Clinical Epidemiology; Health Care Research; Bridging the gap in disparities in diagnosis and access to treatment of HCC locally and globally

Anudari is a general surgery resident at the University of Toronto, where she is building upon her strong foundation in global health and surgical research. She earned her medical degree from McGill University in 2022, during which she launched an international collaboration between the MUHC Centre for Global Surgery and Mongolia’s National Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery Centre. This initiative focused on enhancing trauma care through capacity building, research, and advocacy, reflecting her deep commitment to improving healthcare in her home country. In 2019-2020, Anudari further expanded her expertise as a research associate at the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School. There, she contributed to projects on spinal anesthesia task-sharing, the development of national surgical plans within the Southern African Development Community, and strategies to promote global health equity.

Currently, Anudari is pursuing graduate studies in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Her thesis research will investigate disparities in the diagnosis and treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma in Mongolia, with a focus on culturally and resource-informed surveillance for high-risk patients.
