Xue is a consultant analyst at the Centre for Global Health Research in collaboration with the Nuffield Department of Population Health.

Xue brings her clinical and epidemiological expertise to investigate modifiable risk factors associated with major causes of mortality and morbidity across various health systems. She holds a Doctor of Medicine from Peking Union Medical College and completed her Neurology residency training at Beijing Tiantan Hospital. She received a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, with a collaborative specialization in global health, from Dalla Lana School of Public Health, the University of Toronto. She is dedicated to providing high-quality evidence from epidemiological research to support decision-making in clinical practice and health policy.
